I've coached cross country at San Cristóbal de las Casas Sports Club since 1979. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ricardo
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Ricardo: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
