Riaan Maharaj
Brass band player and teacher in Pretoria
- 🇿🇦 Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa
- Pretoria Orchestra
- Since 1995
- English, Afrikaans
I've played brass band since 1995, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 18 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I run most mornings.
More about Riaan
I write my first song when I was 14. It was terrible and I still love it.
