Riaan C. Venter

Economics lecturer, Since 1990

  • 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
  • Soweto University
  • Since 1990
  • English
I've spent 36 years as a lecturer in economics at Soweto University in Soweto. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I walk the dog by the river. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Riaan

I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
