I've worked in thatching from 1981 to 1995. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 460 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 16 years later for another job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Rey: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
