Rey Castro

Tabla player and teacher in Quezon City

  • 🇵🇭 Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines
  • Quezon City Parkside Ensemble
  • 1985 to 2023
  • English, Filipino
I've played tabla from 1985 to 2023, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach. I carry a notebook everywhere. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Rey

I wrote my first song when I was 22. It was terrible and I still love it.
