Revathi C. Balakrishnan
Geography and early years teacher, Howrah
- 🇮🇳 Howrah, West Bengal, India
- Since 2011
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 15 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Revathi
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Revathi: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I was in your first-year students class in 2023. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Khulna.

You taught me geography in 2020 at Howrah Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
