René Mathieu Philippe

Sitar player and teacher in Casablanca

  • 🇲🇦 Casablanca, Casablanca-Settat, Morocco
  • Casablanca Music School
  • Since 1994
  • English
I play sitar and singing. I started in 1994 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. I teach about 11 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I sing in a choir. I'm still learning every day.

More about René

If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.

What gifts mean to René: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
