I've been a nurse for 13 years, most of them in pediatrics at Ribeirão Preto University Hospital in Ribeirão Preto. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I walk the dog by the river.
