Renate Heike Franke
30 years teaching chemistry in Berlin
- 🇩🇪 Berlin, Berlin, Germany
- Since 1979
- German
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 47 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 2,120 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Renate
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
