For 21 years I have been the Spanish teacher at Rio de Janeiro Girls' School. I teach primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 460 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Renata
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Renata: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
