I've been a nurse for eight years, most of them in orthopedics at Rio de Janeiro Health Center in Rio de Janeiro. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
I've held a lot of hands. I wouldn't change a thing.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Renata: A gift would go toward blankets and small comforts for patients without family.
