Ren Kaito Hasegawa
First-generation students mentor, Sakai
- 🇯🇵 Sakai, Osaka, Japan
- Hillcrest Youth Network
- 2002 to 2018
- Japanese
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 670 people through Hillcrest Youth Network.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.

If I mentored you, I hope you're still pushing yourself.

What gifts mean to Ren: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
