Rekha Payal Garg
Master of plumbing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Nagpur, Maharashtra, India
- The Nagpur Works
- 1992 to 2007
- English, Hindi
I've worked in plumbing from 1992 to 2007. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 710 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Rekha: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
