Rekha P. Srivastava
Choir director and singer
- 🇺🇸 Houston, Texas, United States
- Windsor Band
- Since 1995
- English, Hindi
I play accordion and jazz. I started in 1995 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 19 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Rekha
I write my first song when I was 18. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Rekha: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
