Rekha M. Bhardwaj
Runs the hospital visiting in Brooklyn
- 🇺🇸 Brooklyn, New York, United States
- Silverlake Mutual Aid
- Since 1981
- English, Hindi
I'm a volunteer. Mostly hospital visiting, sometimes animal shelter, always with a flask of tea.
I'm not an expert in anything, I just show up. I'm learning the guitar.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Rekha
If you've ever been helped by one of our sessions, you're the reason we keep going.
What gifts mean to Rekha: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
