Rekha G. Grewal

24 years teaching history in Howrah

🇮🇳 Howrah, West Bengal, India
Valley View Grammar School
1981 to 2016
English

I taught history at Valley View Grammar School in Howrah from 1981 to 2016. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk. I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
