Rekha E. Bisht
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India
- The Sunrise Workshop
- Since 2016
- English
I've worked in thatching since 2016. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 380 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 21 years later for another job.
More about Rekha
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
