Regina Tatiane Marques
Master of upholstery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇧🇷 Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Old Ashford Workshop
- Since 1992
- Portuguese
I've worked in upholstery since 1992. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 1,870 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Regina: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.

You fixed our roof in 2011 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from Bologna.
