Refilwe D. Mthembu
Religious studies and physics teacher, Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg Grammar School
- Since 1997
- English, Afrikaans, French
For 29 years I have been the religious studies teacher at Johannesburg Grammar School. I teach Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Refilwe
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Refilwe: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
