I teach religious studies at Heliopolis Boys' School in Heliopolis since 1982. Most days I teach Grade 8, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 1,190 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
