Reem Jamila Abdallah
Traditional drumming and bass teacher
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- Orchid Ensemble
- 1987 to 2025
- English, Arabic
I've played traditional drumming from 1987 to 2025, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 12 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I walk the dog by the river.

What gifts mean to Reem: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
