I've worked in pottery since 1978. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 2,500 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Raymond
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Raymond: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
