Raymond J. Cortez

30 years teaching agriculture in Columbus

🇺🇸 Columbus, Ohio, United States
Pioneer High School
1981 to 2006
English

Pioneer High School was my second home. I taught agriculture there from 1981 to 2006, mostly Grade 8. Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.

More about Raymond

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

Subjects taught

Agriculture Spanish

What gifts mean to Raymond: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

you taught me agriculture in 1993 at Pioneer High School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
