13 years teaching mathematics in Birmingham
- 🇬🇧 Birmingham, England, United Kingdom
- Starlight Girls' School
- 2013 to 2025
- English, French
I taught mathematics at Starlight Girls' School in Birmingham from 2013 to 2025. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and my door was open at lunch.
Over the years I had 260 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Raymond
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Raymond: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
