Ravi Iyer
Tabla player and teacher in Dwarka
- 🇮🇳 Dwarka, Delhi, India
- Dwarka Band
- Since 1984
- English
I've played tabla since 1984, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 6 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Ravi: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
