I coached baseball at Bayview Boxing Gym from 2014 to 2022. Most of my players were between 8 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
More about Raúl
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

I still think about the long bus ride home. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Kyiv.
