I taught chemistry at Valley View Secondary School in Dhaka from 2004 to 2013. Most days I taught Year 10, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
