I teach environmental science at Mangaluru Middle School in Mangaluru since 1985. Most days I teach first-year students, and I never raise my voice.
Over the years I've had 1,640 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Rashmi
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Rashmi: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
