Rashidi Wekesa

Youth table tennis coach and mentor

  • 🇹🇿 Mwanza, Mwanza, Tanzania
  • Mwanza Youth Club
  • Since 2010
  • English
I've coached table tennis at Mwanza Youth Club since 2010. Most of my players were between 10 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.

What gifts mean to Rashidi: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
