I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 32 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,790 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Rashidi
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me Spanish in 2011 at Nairobi Academy. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
