Volunteer mentor with Starlight Community Trust
- 🇿🇦 Sandton, Gauteng, South Africa

- Since 2014
- English, Zulu
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 660 people through Starlight Community Trust.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Rashid
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Rashid: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
