Rashid E. Padayachee

Thatching for 19 years in Johannesburg

  • 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
  • Johannesburg Trades Guild
  • 1991 to 2010
  • English, French
I've worked in thatching from 1991 to 2010. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 1,050 apprentices. Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.

More about Rashid

Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
