I coached cycling at Johannesburg Athletic Club from 1981 to 1996. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.
More about Rashid
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Rashid: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
