Rashid D. Jones
Teacher at Central Secondary School, loves early years
- 🇿🇦 Paarl, Western Cape, South Africa
- Central Secondary School
- 1999 to 2018
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 19 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Rashid
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Rashid: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
