I've been a nurse for eight years, most of them in palliative care at Willow Creek Clinic in Bloemfontein. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
