I taught geography at Our Lady of Peace Girls' School in Narayanganj from 1986 to 2024. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 2,170 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
