Rashed Rafiq Barua
Painter, potter and teacher at Dhaka Gallery
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Dhaka Gallery
- Since 1999
- English
I work mostly in textiles, sometimes illustration. My first show was in 1999 at Dhaka Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Rashed
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
