Rashed Jewel Khan
Coached cricket for nine years in New Delhi
- 🇮🇳 New Delhi, Delhi, India
- 1983 to 1992
- English
For nine years I ran the cricket program at New Delhi Sakura Athletic Club in New Delhi. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Rashed
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
