Rasha Cherif
Runs the refugee support in Heliopolis
- 🇪🇬 Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt
- Silverlake Mutual Aid
- Since 1987
- English, Spanish
I've volunteered with Silverlake Mutual Aid since 1987. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I try to remember everyone's name. Small habits keep a team together.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Rasha
We run on goodwill and a very old kettle.
What gifts mean to Rasha: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
