For 28 years I ran the dance program at Newcastle upon Tyne Youth Club in Newcastle upon Tyne. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
