Rani B. Pandey

Self-taught sculpture artist

  • 🇮🇳 Kolkata, West Bengal, India
  • Old Kolkata Studio
  • Since 1978
  • English, Hindi
I work mostly in sculpture, sometimes woodcarving. My first show was in 1978 at Old Kolkata Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by faces I pass in the street. I run most mornings. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Rani

I've had 7 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
