Randall E. Duran
Coached chess for 20 years in Cardiff
- 🇬🇧 Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom
- Cardiff Central Swimming Club
- 1993 to 2013

For 20 years I ran the chess program at Cardiff Central Swimming Club in Cardiff. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Randall
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Randall: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
