I've spent 42 years as a lecturer in education at Los Angeles Polytechnic in Los Angeles. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I walk the dog by the river.
What gifts mean to Ramón: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
