I coached athletics at San Francisco Swimming Club from 1999 to 2012. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Ramón: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
