Ramon Lacson
Youth rugby coach and mentor
- 🇵🇭 Calamba, Laguna, Philippines
- Calamba Eastgate Community Club
- 1996 to 2006
- English, Filipino
For ten years I ran the rugby program at Calamba Eastgate Community Club in Calamba. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ramon
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Ramon: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
