Ramón F. Quiroga
Youth boxing coach and mentor
- 🇪🇸 Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain
- Since 1994
- Spanish
For 32 years I've run the boxing program at Tarragona Youth Club in Tarragona. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ramón
If you played for me, you probably remember the surprise birthday cake.
What gifts mean to Ramón: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
