For eleven years I was the music teacher at St. Louis Girls' School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 240 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ramón
If you were in my mixed-ability classes class, you probably remember the last day before the summer holidays.
What gifts mean to Ramón: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
