Ramón A. Galindo

Youth cross country coach and mentor

  • 🇲🇽 Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico
  • Tlaquepaque Swimming Club
  • 1991 to 2019
  • Spanish
For 28 years I ran the cross country program at Tlaquepaque Swimming Club in Tlaquepaque. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

More about Ramón

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
