I've coached chess at Eastgate Boxing Gym since 1983. Most of my players were between 8 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Rami
If you played for me, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
What gifts mean to Rami: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
