I coached rowing at Coimbatore Lakeview Sports Club from 2008 to 2022. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ramesh
If you played for me, you probably remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
What gifts mean to Ramesh: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
